Predators' goaltender Pekka Rinne on Monday was named the NHL?s ?First Star? of the week.
Rinne posted three victories in as many starts last week, earning a pair of shutouts and allowing just two goals.
Blackhawks' center Jonathan Toews, who tallied four goals and two assists, including a pair of game-winning scores, was named the ?Second Star.?
The ?Third Star? went to Ottawa center Jason Spezza, who scored four goals as the Senators won both of their contests last week.
